FBM09 digital input module
The FBM09 is a digital input module developed by Foxboro  for its I/A Series Distributed Control System (DCS). It is specialized in collecting and transmitting on-site digital switching signals, serving as a key front-end component for real-time monitoring of device status in industrial automation scenarios. Below is its detailed information:
- Digital Signal Acquisition: Primarily collects dry contact signals or low-voltage DC digital signals from on-site devices (such as emergency stop buttons, limit switches, and status indicators) to reflect the "on/off" or "normal/fault" status of equipment.
 - Signal Conditioning & Transmission: Filters and isolates the acquired digital signals to eliminate interference from industrial environments. It then converts the signals into a format recognizable by the I/A Series DCS and transmits them to the upper-level control system for logic judgment and interlock control.
 - Fault Monitoring: Integrates basic self-diagnostic functions to monitor the module’s power supply status and channel circuit integrity. If abnormalities (such as open input lines) occur, it sends fault prompts to the DCS to facilitate timely troubleshooting.

The company has multiple main brands, and if you have other brand requirements, you can also send them to customer service for inquiry.
